Matrix Engineering is an electrical harness and test equipment manufacturer and assembly house, located just outside of Detroit, Michigan. Primarily supplying the automotive community for over 25 years, we are fortunate and honored to be here to fulfill your needs! Specializing in custom build requests, some of the customers that Matrix has the pleasure of doing business with include: Stellantis, Harman, Aptiv, Ford, Dominion Technologies, Burke E. Porter, etc.

We remember doing business without a computer. We remember when there were no mobile phones or email. Are we old school? Well... not at all! We just remember that time. Now, more than ever we embrace the ever changing, fast paced, multi-tasked, multi-communicated business world of today. Not only do we embrace it, but we also hope it continues to change for the better! It's been great to see the evolution of the automobile in particular, especially within the last 15 years. Having experience in the test harness and equipment field for over 25 years, Tim took ownership of Matrix Engineering in 2011. Tim's drive to inspire, lead, and find solutions is balanced with a patience and open mindedness that has been fined tuned over the years. He's learned from so many, of what it takes to manage a group of wonderful people to be the best they can be! Tim believes success is achieved through hard work, and surrounding yourself with great people. "I just do what I think my grandfather would be proud of if he were still alive today".

SUPERVISING MANAGER
Becca has been a driving force for Matrix for over a decade. When there is potential improvement, she's on the job. Becca has helped shape and mold a smooth work environment at Matrix with an amazing ingenuity. She is open to trying new approaches, all the while maintaining routine and scheduling. Balanced, and steady, Becca puts her all into the Matrix team and it shows!

After completing his internship with Matrix, Brad continues to work as a satellite member of the Matrix team. Applying his background in electrical engineering and Solidworks, Brad has been a crucial asset to the company. The most confident member of the Matrix team, Steve has over 7 years of experience assembling harnesses and test equipment to give a foundation to what he knows. Steve excels in breakout systems and harnesses of all requirements. Once Steve is handed a job, he is off and running with quick and reliable results. Hard work may very well be his middle name! Steve is a big reason why Matrix maintains its perfect lead times.

Melanie brings knowledge, and a willingness to the Matrix team that brings a new level of perspective and harmony. She is a retaining tank of information that shows in her ability to pick up where others have left off. Whether it may be reoccurring jobs, or new requests alike, Melanie is always there to help with whatever is needed. Melanie has been with the Matrix team since 2017.
